Tony Gallagher is an Oamaru artist who has lived in Oamaru for 12 years. He used to be a teacher but now has his own career in just art. He now teaches part time and loves helping people develop their skills.

Tony gets most of his inspiration from watching people and their emotions. He loves watching sports and getting facial expressions. Living in Oamaru doesn't effect his style. Tony does a variety of work – lino prints, drawings and paintings.
