Living Heritage Day

21.08.08

Living Heritage Day was celebrated by public libraries around New Zealand on 21 August 2008 as part of Library Week. Wellington Central Library hosted an event attended by the

Minister of the National Library, Minister Judith Tizard, sharing and celebrating the Living Heritage stories created by local primary schools, Northland and Bellevue.

A fantastic time was had by all and guests gained a lot from talking to the students about their research treasures. Photos and video footage of the event to come!
